SUMMER FOOD SERVICE PROGRAM
Horizons Albuquerque Summer Students are served by the Bernalillo County Summer Food Service Program and lunches for enrolled students are served at all 3 of our summer sites: Manzano Day School, Bosque School and Sandia Prep.
For the general public the closest program locations to Bosque and Sandia Prep are at La Ladera Park and Raymond G. Sanchez Community Center. The closest program locations to Manzano Day School are at Tiguex Park, Los Duranes Park, and Barelas Community Center. Please read below for more information regarding the program.
2023 Bernalillo County Summer Food Services Program
Bernalillo County will begin serving meals to children within unincorporated areas of the county beginning on Wednesday, May 31, 2023. These locations include the South Valley, North Valley, East Mountains, the Pueblo of Isleta, and Paradise Hills area.
Most lunch locations will operate from 11:30 a.m. -1:00 p.m., but some locations will serve lunches from noon to 2:00 p.m. No registration is required.
Please note that lunch will not be served on the following dates: June 19 (Juneteenth) and July 4 (Independence Day).
