Power Up Academy

Horizons Albuquerque's Power Up Academy expands year-round services for students and families at Explora’s Science XStudio teen center and is open to all Horizons scholars. Our after-school program offers a safe, structured environment for students in grades 1 through 12 to participate in educational, recreational, and enrichment activities outside regular school hours. School-year programming, including weekly tutoring, STEAM, guitar, environmental education, and mental health support, reinforces students’ summer academic progress and supports continued educational success.
